Does anyone play on the Free Internet Chess Server (FICS)?

I have played a bit (150 games +-) on FICS.

What I like - the price is right, BABAS Chess is a pretty decent interface program with lots of feaures, usually able to get a game quickly

What I don't like - there seems to be a bug in the server software that can keep your opponent from losing on time (their time just ticks into a negative amount), there are some very rude, infantile players on FICS

Talking of infantile players, yesterday I played a bullet game on plachess and after my opponent lost he insulted me. As black I played something like 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 f5 and he maybe thinks it's incorrect.



So, I guess infantile players are everywhere
