1.e4 is just too common, I was thinking of developing it as a suprise weapon. Only thing is, it doesn't seem like much of a weapon. Prove me wrong!

No, I meant e4 is too common so I thought of playing c4.
Bad logic.
If a particular move is the most common at the start, there's usually a good reason for it.
Not that I have anything against the English, though. Marin showed in GM Repertoire that you can fight for the advantage with 1.c4 as well as 1.e4 and 1.d4.
